13 Weeks (Contract) Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and licensed Physical Therapist to join a collaborative and patient-focused rehabilitation team in Syracuse, NY. This is a 13-week contract opportunity ideal for professionals looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic clinical setting. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized physical therapy programs based on patient needs Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and patients to establish treatment goals Maintain timely and accurate documentation including progress notes and discharge summaries Attend clinical rounds, conferences, and patient clinics to contribute professional insights Educate staff, students, volunteers, and healthcare personnel through in-service training and clinical instruction Mentor new team members and serve as a clinical instructor for senior-level physical therapy students Support new program development and contribute to departmental innovation Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (minimum requirement) Current NY State Physical Therapy license or eligibility for licensure Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience Strong documentation and communication skills
