Job Overview:

The Physical Therapy Assistant conducts physical therapy under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Implements an individualized treatment plan of care based on the findings and goals established by the Physical Therapist evaluation.
• Collects patient data and communicates to the Physical Therapist regarding discharge recommendations.
• Participates in practice changes as a result of performance improvement activities.
• Maintains clinical competencies and uses best and/or evidence-based practices.
• Participates in marketing to physicians and supports consumer marketing and public awareness through community events.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Basic Life Support Certification required
• Current Valid Physical Therapy Assistant or Temporary Physical Therapist Assistant License required
• Prior Sports/Ortho outpatient experience - PREFERRED
