Job Description Job Title: General Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) Location: Denver, CO Setting: Hospital Term: 3-6 Months with the option to extend Schedule: Monday - Sunday. 6:30AM or 8:30AM to 5:00PM or 7:00PM Pay Rate: $160-175/Hour
Job Summary: A hospital in Denver, Colorado is looking for a General Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) to provide additional coverage. Providers with flexibility are preferred but can expect 4x10s weekly.

Requirements of a General Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA): • Active CO Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License • BLS Certification
Responsibilities of General Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA): • Perform pre- and post-operative rounding on general surgery patients. • Assist with inpatient orders, consults from other services, and patient discharges. • Field calls from nursing staff and provide necessary support. • Work in collaboration with an attending physician who is always onsite. • No surgical cases in the operating room (OR). • No on-call responsibilities. • Expected patient census: 10-20 patients per day.
