Now Hiring: General Manager
Club Pilates/Riser Fitness: Crown Hill, Washington
The General Manager will oversee all studio functions from membership & retail sales to instructor performance & evaluation. They will lead all sales efforts, drive membership growth, and develop strategies to prevent member attrition to competitors. The General Manager will hire, train, and manage Sales Associates within their studio, as well as utilize discretion and independent judgment in directing the work of all employees & personnel. Fitness experience and/or knowledge of Pilates is preferred, but not required.

Club Pilates offers group reformer classes in various formats and levels to accommodate everyone seeking to learn Pilates and enhance their fitness expertise. Club Pilates was one of the first studios to create a 500-hour Teacher Training Program designed to thoroughly and safely teach group Pilates apparatus classes. Position Details:
- Title: General Manager
- Reports to: District Manager & Regional Manager
- Compensation: Base Salary + Monthly Bonus Opportunity

Minimum Requirements:
- 2+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales experience
- Confidence in generating personal sales and training Sales Associates
- Ability to manage and drive revenue from memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training
- Fluency in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to excel in a fast-changing, diverse environment
- Good judgment to recognize areas for improvement and implement changes
- Passion for fitness
- Strong writing and grammar skills
- Highly organized with proficiency in data management and meeting deadlines
- Professional, punctual, reliable, and neat
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Trustworthy with confidential information
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the public
- Proficiency with computers and studio software
Responsibilities:
- Lead generation via grassroots marketing and networking
- Implement sales processes to convert prospects into intro classes
- Increase membership sales
- Manage staff schedules
- Maintain accurate inventory of retail/products
- Train and supervise Sales Associates
- Hire and manage instructors
- Use ClubReady for revenue and attendance reports
- Review instructor evaluations and mentor/discipline as needed
- Make high-level customer service decisions
- Collect dues
- Maintain studio cleanliness and organization
- Enforce policies and procedures
- Ensure studio supplies and literature are stocked
- Participate in networking/community events and promotions
- Manage marketing campaigns to generate leads
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Adhere to all company policies, including at-will employment
