Communicate as directed any potential placement, preplacement visits, respites, any follow up questions from placement referrals Track and maintain audit/files for families and clients files and assures compliance standards are met Monitor SFM Nebraska placement inbox as primary point of contact with DHHS regarding incoming placement referrals Respond to DHHS placement referrals on PPI Track and enter new client referrals into Casebook
Attend weekly DHHS placement calls Provides quality customer service when greeting individuals either by phone or in person. Provides clerical support and technical assistance for the FCH department to include but not limited to distributing and sorting mail, assembling packets, and sending and receiving information. Assists with keeping children and family information up to date in the client management system. Reviews child placement referral information and matches with foster parent’s preferences for placement of children and make contact with foster parents to review the referrals. Participates in office team meetings. Performs other duties as assigned Implements Saint Francis Ministries policies and follows directives as required. Follows and adheres to all pertinent Saint Francis Ministries Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), rules, personnel policies and procedures; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state and local rules, statutes, regulations, and contractual terms Is knowledgeable of and follows all safety procedures and maintains the role of the office Safety Officer. Reports unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels Ensures clients’ rights are protected
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in human services or a related field. Prefer previous experience in child welfare services. Must be 21 years of age. Must pass a drug screen, Nebraska State Patrol Criminal Background Check, DHHS APS and CPS Central Registry Checks, and Nebraska Sex Offender Registry. Lifting requirements 50 lbs. Must have a valid NE driver's license, acceptable driving, and reliable transportation.
