Company Description Stratas Foods LLC is the leading supplier of fats and oils to the Foodservice, Food Ingredients, and Retail Private Label markets in North America. Job Description The Plant Engineer will support plant operations through project implementation, equipment improvements, and daily operational support to ensure safety and quality standards are met. Responsibilities: Manage projects, oversee purchasing, and supervise contractors to ensure timely and within-budget completion. Provide safety and quality training to contractors. Support plant processes and improvements with technical expertise. Maintain daily communication with production and maintenance teams. Participate in daily production and quality meetings. Assist management with regulatory compliance training. Observe operations and assist in problem-solving regularly. Enforce GMP and HACCP requirements. Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, environmental policies, and regulations. Qualifications Education:

BS in engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institution; Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical engineering preferred. Experience:

Minimum of 5-6 years in engineering roles with a record of troubleshooting and project work. Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project Management, Microsoft Project, and basic understanding of Allen Bradley PLC; familiarity with CMMS like MP2 is advantageous. Certifications:

No mandatory licenses; related licenses such as PE, ASME welding, PLC certifications, or wastewater licenses are a plus. Competencies: Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively. Ability to identify improvement areas and develop corrective plans. Skilled in creating sketches, drawings, and instructions for maintenance and repair. Team-oriented attitude to ensure safety, sanitation, and production standards. Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration, steam generation, and PLCs. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk across the facility, climb stairs/ladders, and work in varying temperatures. Sensory Requirements:

Good hearing, sight, speech, smell, and touch necessary for tasks. Mental Skills:
