Position Overview
Belmont Hardware is seeking a motivated Sales Associate to join our team. If you have a passion for building relationships, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving sales, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients in the showroom and via phone/email to understand their project needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with trade accounts including designers, architects, and builders.
- Recommend and sell products that meet the client's aesthetic and functional requirements.
- Meet and exceed sales goals.
- Provide accurate product information, quotes, and follow-up communication.
- Collaborate with showroom and purchasing teams for project success.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.
- Maintain a clean and organized showroom.
Requirements
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail, interior design, plumbing, or hardware.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Customer service-oriented with a proactive approach.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships.
- Comfort working with trade professionals.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and goal-driven.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs in a showroom environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with luxury brands or home improvement industries.
- Familiarity with decorative hardware, plumbing fixtures, or lighting.
- Knowledge of construction or remodeling processes.
