$25.00-$35.00+ | Higher pay based on experience +15% Night Shift Differential Shift Options:

6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (2 openings) Night Shift:
6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (3 openings) Schedule:
4 days on / 3 days off, then 3 days on / 4 days off Training:
Provided on 1st Shift Overview We manufacture high-performance filter membranes used in the Healthcare & Life Sciences and Energy & Mobility sectors. Our Westborough facility operates in a demanding industrial environment involving chemical handling, precision production, and tight quality controls. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and a commitment to following procedures.
Job Description
Operate, set up, and clean casting machines used in membrane production Prepare chemical solutions using work instructions Monitor machine settings, temperature, viscosity, and film characteristics Perform visual inspections during the casting process Complete in-process quality checks and maintain accurate production logs Follow all safety protocols, including the use of PPE and respirators when needed Assist with nylon casting and phase separation steps Support sanitation, housekeeping, and routine equipment cleaning Troubleshoot issues during the casting process and make necessary adjustments Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly Must wear PPE, including respirators, during designated processes Operators support the membrane casting process, which includes:
Casting Solution Prep:
Dissolving nylon in solvent; respirator required Coating:
Applying the casting solution to a support layer to form film Phase Separation:
Using coagulating baths to create porous membrane structure Cleaning/Drying:
Removing residual solvents and preparing final product Monitoring:
Continuous inspection and adjustment of membrane quality and equipment settings Note:
This is not a light-duty or cleanroom-only position. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, experienced with large equipment, and safety-focused. Light assembly experience alone is not sufficient for success in this role. Benefits (Employee Contribution)
