We aim to transform housing from an analog, onsite project into a digital, offsite product. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Principal Architect located in Los Angeles, CA. The Principal Architect will be responsible for architectural design, building systems integration, project coordination, BIM integration and its deployment on projects, creation of architectural/engineering documentation, permitting, and quality control/assurance. The Principal Architect will lead multi-disciplinary teams and be responsible for the delivery of the TektonOS solution on a project by project basis. The Principal Architect will work frequently with the Product Development team to advance the TektonOS solution. Some work from home is acceptable. Travel to projects/clients required. Qualifications Strong skills in Architectural Design Proven knowledge/expertise with housing (must show evidence) Proficiency in BIM, working knowledge using AutoDesk REVIT and ability to lead its deployment on projects required Proven experience with implementing BIM execution plans required Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment Strong ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams to design, document, permit and oversee the building of housing Bachelor's degree in Architecture, minimum requirement Architectural licensure (CA preferred) in good standing required Prior experience with construction and/or prefabricated housing a plus Seniority level
