Spearhead the development of design concepts that align with Anywhere Real Estate's vision and market trends. Provide expert guidance on all design-related decisions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and innovation. Lead brainstorming sessions and design workshops to foster creativity and idea generation within the team. Design Excellence :
Oversee multiple design projects from inception to completion. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and Product Managers, to ensure seamless project execution. Develop project timelines, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with the project management team. Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, understanding their needs and translating them into compelling design solutions. Present design proposals and progress updates to partner teams and leadership, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder engagement. Act as the primary design contact, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive experience. Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and feedback to help them grow professionally. Promote a culture of continuous learning and encourage the team to stay updated with the latest design trends and techniques. UX Research :
Collaborate closely with the UX research team to integrate user insights and data into design decisions. Utilize UX research to inform and validate design concepts, ensuring they meet user needs and enhance user satisfaction. Advocate for user-centered design principles across all projects, ensuring that user feedback is a critical component of the design process. Design Operations (DesignOps) :
Work with Program management to develop and implement design operations strategies to streamline workflows and improve efficiency within the design team. Contribute to the selection and management of design tools, resources, and software, ensuring the team has access to cutting-edge technology. Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of design initiatives and drive continuous improvement. Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field. Proven track record (10+ years) of designing user experiences for web and mobile applications with at least 3 years in a leadership position. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, InVision, etc.). Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies. Experience working with user research and usability testing. Knowledge of current UX trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Strong understanding and advocacy for accessibility. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions and strategies.
