Seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to join our team and drive the development of cutting-edge financial technology products. In this role, you will work closely with engineering teams to define, prioritize, and execute product features, ensuring they meet the technical, regulatory, and business requirements of the financial services industry. You will play a key role in translating technical needs into user-centric solutions, managing product roadmaps, and ensuring successful product delivery while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute product roadmaps for technical financial products, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory standards, and customer needs.
- Act as the primary liaison between engineering, design, business, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and technical requirements are well understood.
- Prioritize and manage product features, balancing technical complexity, business value, and regulatory compliance within the financial services sector.
- Work hands-on with engineering teams to define detailed technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Oversee product development from conception to delivery, ensuring high-quality standards and timely releases.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies and frameworks that enhance the performance, scalability, and security of financial products.
- Analyze product performance using technical metrics, user feedback, and market data to inform ongoing improvements and product iterations.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, data security standards, and industry best practices throughout the product lifecycle.
- Continuously monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate innovative solutions that maintain competitive advantage in the financial sector.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, with a focus on technology products in the financial services industry.
- Strong technical background with experience working directly with engineering teams, understanding complex systems, APIs, and data architecture.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services landscape, including regulations, compliance standards, and financial product offerings.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including experience managing sprint cycles, user stories, and product backlogs.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities with a data-driven approach.
- Experience with financial technologies (e.g., payments, blockchain, digital banking, trading platforms) is highly preferred.
