Civil Engineering Recruitment Specialist
We're currently working with a leading firm in the water and wastewater engineering sector. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Water/Wastewater Civil Engineer to join a talented team in Los Angeles. Responsibilities: Design and manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects including pipelines, treatment plants, pumping stations, and stormwater management systems. Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic modeling and analysis for water and wastewater systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for clients. Prepare technical reports, proposals, and cost estimates. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and sustainability goals. Assist with permitting and environmental reviews for water and wastewater projects. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and staff. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently to meet client and regulatory requirements. Participate in client meetings and project presentations to ensure clear communication and satisfaction. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license in California preferred. 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering or related field. Experience with water distribution, wastewater collection systems, and treatment processes. Proficient in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, EPANET, and similar tools. Knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations (e.g., NPDES, Clean Water Act, etc.). Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to sustainability and environmentally responsible engineering practices. Seniority level
