Distribution Superintendent Location: Atlanta, Georgia

The Distribution Superintendent is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising construction work within an assigned area of a construction project. This role ensures that distribution-related construction activities are scheduled and completed in accordance with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and oversee construction scheduling for distribution-related subcontractor activities to ensure timely project completion.
Supervise and provide oversight for the following project work activities:
High-voltage transmission lines
Transmission line steel and wood structures
Drilled piers, spread footings, grounding, and environmental compliance
Substation equipment, substation structures, electrical systems, and controls
Authorize purchase requisitions and field design change requests, under the supervision of the Construction Manager and Project Manager.
Review and audit site-specific safety documentation, including Pre-Task Analysis (PTAs) and Task Safety Observations (TSOs).
Complete daily field reports and maintain photographic documentation of construction progress.
Evaluate upcoming work activities and identify concerns with work plans.
Conduct walk-downs of all systems before, during, and after hydrostatic testing to verify compliance with drawings and specifications, and to sign off on system testing and restoration.
Direct daily field construction efforts through coordination of subcontractors and monitoring for code and specification compliance.
Read and interpret isometric drawings, structural drawings, and P&IDs.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of construction management or craft supervision experience on distribution projects
Experience with overhead distribution installation is required
Strong leadership and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Must meet company driving requirements
High school diploma required
