This company offers unmatched technical resources, a strong safety culture, and significant growth potential.What Makes This Role Stand OutHighly Competitive Pay - Earn $70-$80+/hr based on experience and certificationTravel Flexibility - Only 25% regional travel requiredTop-Tier Projects - Work with advanced electrical power distribution systemsLeadership Path - Mentor junior techs and lead project work in the fieldBonuses Available - Sign-on bonus and relocation support for the right candidateKey ResponsibilitiesTravel to client sites to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and collect data on complex electrical systemsSupervise and guide Level I & II technicians and assistantsPerform maintenance and commissioning on low, medium, and high-voltage equipment, including switchgear, transformers, cables, and relaysCalibrate and test protective relays, power metering systems, and control circuitsConduct arc-flash and shock risk assessments; maintain detailed safety documentationCommission generator and high-voltage substation systemsEnsure full compliance with NFPA 70E, OSHA, and lockout/tag-out protocolsAssist sales and engineering teams with technical expertise and field insightsCandidate RequirementsMinimum 5 years' experience in electrical power systems testing, troubleshooting, and maintenanceHands-on experience with switchgear, relays, transformers, motor controls, and substationsProven understanding of NETA ATS and MTS standardsStrong command of electrical safety protocols (NFPA70E)Valid driver's license and clean driving recordExcellent written communication and leadership skillsPreferred QualificationsActive NETA Level III or IV Certification (or NICET-EPT equivalent)Experience working in NERC-regulated facilitiesDemonstrated expertise in supervising field projects and resolving critical system issuesSalary Description $80/hour
