Project Engineer / Pavement Engineer Salary
Based on experience and will be discussed with the manager during the interview. Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen and pass a federal background review and drug screening. Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee construction management of civil projects for airfield runway improvements and pavement resurfacing. Review contractor’s Quality Assurance Plan. Perform inspections and surveillance to ensure compliance with contracts and specifications. Review design, comment logging, and back-checking for Design-Build projects. Monitor submittals and review requests for payment. Review daily reports and verify project schedules. Maintain organized files for correspondence, reports, and project documentation. Review and process Requests for Information (RFI), change orders, and contract amendments. Support contract modifications. Perform critical path schedule review. Education & Experience
7+ years of engineering and construction management experience. Experience with civil works projects and construction administration. Bachelor of Science degree required. Knowledge in airfield runway improvements and pavement resurfacing preferred. Experience with federal projects (e.g., US Army Corps of Engineers) and RMS 3.0 is preferred. Ability to read construction plans and specifications. Strong written communication and organizational skills. Physical Requirements
