Qualifications
PA Certification in Secondary Guidance required Masters in School Counseling required Experience and Knowledge in Career and Technical Education preferred Current police, child abuse, & FBI Fingerprint clearances required
Duties & Responsibilities
Counsel groups or individual students through the development of educational and career plans Oversee student scheduling, report cards, transcripts and other school records Work in conjunction with parents and students in their search for higher education Collaborate with teachers, staff and parents regarding meeting the developmental needs of students and seek community resources when necessary Conduct counseling activities in the classroom in conjunction with administration and teachers Participate in Student Assistance Program (SAP). Respond to crisis situations when appropriate
Salary 2025-26 School Year
$65,394 to $100,586- Master's Degree $68,403 to $104,546- Master's +15 $69,938 to $106,442 - Masters + 30
*placement is based on related counselor experience and will be pro-rated based on length of the assignment
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7.5 hours/day
