CPMC-California Pacific Med Center Van Ness Position Overview
Perform routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. Work independently with sound judgment and clinical skills to ensure safe, precise procedures and timely results. Gain patient and healthcare team cooperation through assessment, monitoring, and communication. Comply with all regulations and policies to ensure privacy and safety. May also assist in orienting staff or performing specific procedures. Education
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program Certification & Licensure
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider upon hire RHF (Radiology Fluoroscopy) within 180 days if required Experience
Minimum 2 years relevant recent experience Skills and Knowledge
Knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, equipment, and emergency response Ability to perform routine radiographic exams and understand anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Strong communication skills for explaining sensitive information Time management and organizational skills Proficiency with computer applications and healthcare information systems Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize tasks, and resolve standard problems Maintain patient confidentiality (PHI) Build collaborative relationships with healthcare providers Job Shift and Schedule
Varied shifts, Per Diem/Casual, 8-12 hours, Variable days, Rotating weekends Benefits and Other Details
No benefits, no union, non-exempt, per diem/casual status, weekly hours vary. Pay range: $60.81 - $76.00/hour. Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer.
