Key Responsibilities:

• Handle commercial litigation, real estate disputes, and landlord-tenant matters

• Manage cases from inception through resolution, including:

o Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery

o Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda

o Participating in hearings, arbitrations, and mediations

o Coordinating with experts and handling e-discovery

• Collaborate with partners on litigation strategies and case development

• Maintain consistent client communication and court appearances

Qualifications:

• 4–5 years of experience in commercial litigation (real estate experience strongly preferred)

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

• Admission to the New York State Bar (required)

• Strong understanding of NY civil procedure and court systems

• Experience managing discovery, including electronic discovery

• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

• Ability to manage multiple matters in a deadline-driven setting

• Law Review or Journal experience preferred
