Overview
Construction company is searching for an Accounting Specialist. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoices are submitted to our customers, maintaining accounting software entries, and receiving and recording payments. You are the main point of contact between our company and our customers in regard to sending accurate and timely invoices appropriately. If you are detail-oriented, courteous, organized, and able to meet deadlines, please apply.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Daily billing
- Invoicing
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines
- Communicates thoroughly with our customers to ensure that there is no delay in future payments
- Signs lien waivers as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Previous accounting experience required, preferably in a construction environment
- Work independently and on a team
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Hours: Mon-Thursday 7:30-4; Friday 7:30-noon
Pay Range: $20-23 per hour based on experience.
