Primary Objective of the Position
Our client is seeking a Director of Business Development to ensure sales meet or exceed established goals. The role involves closing new clients through professional trades, developing sales opportunities with existing active clients, reestablishing relationships with inactive clients, and collaborating with team members to achieve sales targets.
The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial self-starter, leader, independent worker, with strong communication skills and attention to detail, representing the company professionally.
Key Results
- 5-7 years of experience selling complex (multi-buyer/multi-step) BPO solutions to executive-level decision makers in Fortune 500 companies.
- Proven ability to meet sales metrics with quantitative evidence.
- Skilled in prospecting and managing the buying process with Fortune 500 decision makers.
- Experience in training, managing KPIs, and building sales teams.
- Extensive experience initiating and closing complex contracts with large corporations.
- Strong articulation of offerings, verbally and in writing.
- Ability to identify synergies and position solutions effectively.
- Cross-functional partnership experience and internal relationship building.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience Needed
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Proven track record in selling complex solutions to Fortune 500 companies.
- Experience with transactions of $1.5MM or more.
- Employment history of 5+ years.
- Experience with long-term strategic buying processes (>6 months).
- Self-motivated, autonomous, and effective in remote work environments.
- Leadership in team-selling environments.
- Strong prospecting and needs analysis skills.
- Effective group presentation skills.
