Job Title: Recruiter

Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.
- Screen resumes, interview candidates (by phone or in person), administer assessments, perform reference/background checks, and make hiring recommendations for both exempt and nonexempt positions within an assigned territory.
- Serve as an expert in recruiting candidates within the territory.
- Utilize traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, and community events, to attract quality candidates.
- Develop advertising programs to increase visibility with potential candidates.
- Manage internal transfer processes, including screening, coordinating interviews, and preparing transfer offer letters.
- Follow up with candidates and hiring managers for feedback on the recruiting process.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients to achieve staffing goals.
- Communicate employment details during offers, including benefits, compensation, and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations, including affirmative action plans.
- Manage candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and maintain application files per company policy.
- Maintain memberships with relevant trade and professional organizations.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience with ATS systems (preferred).
- Understanding of HR policies and procedures (preferred).
- Bilingual Spanish (preferred).
