About the Job
The Sr. Compliance Analyst is responsible for providing advanced analysis and support to Musket and Trilliums trade surveillance and compliance programs. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience in a compliance, audit, middle office, or legal role. Experience in a trading organization, financial services, or legal firm is preferred. Responsibilities Work closely with trading, legal, risk, and accounting to ensure compliance with laws and regulations Develop and continuously improve policies, procedures, and controls to help mitigate compliance risks Lead the review, analysis, and reporting of results from internal trade surveillance system(s) Respond to and report alerts from internal compliance systems/solutions Lead internal compliance investigations and reviews of trading activity Contribute to investigations and responses to regulatory inquiries Contribute to routine compliance trainings Provide mentorship and guidance to junior teammates Ad hoc compliance reporting as needed
Qualifications
Bachelors degree required; MLS or JD degree preferred 3-5 years of relevant experience in a compliance, audit, middle office, or legal role Experience in a trading organization, financial services, or legal firm preferred Experience with oil, refined products, NGL, and/or biofuel markets preferred
Skills
Proven understanding of commodities/energy markets Proven organizational and time-management/prioritization skills Attention to detail Strong communication and presentation skills Knowledge of laws and regulations related to Muskets commercial business lines Familiarity with RightAngle or other ETRM system preferred
