Kane Partners is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join an innovative industrial manufacturing company. This is an exciting opportunity to drive process improvements, enhance production efficiency, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge manufacturing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate existing manufacturing workflows to identify and implement opportunities for improvements in quality, productivity, safety, and cost reduction.
- Design and develop manufacturing fixtures that optimize production efficiency and streamline operations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and engineering personnel, to review product designs and recommend improvements for manufacturability.
- Apply your knowledge of electronic equipment, computer hardware, and software to support manufacturing operations.
- Utilize expertise in various fabrication processes such as MiG Welding, Plasma/Waterjet, Press Brakes, Saws, Power Rollers, Lathes, and other standard shop equipment to improve production capabilities.
- Leverage your understanding of pneumatics, electrical assemblies, and machine operations to ensure efficient system integration.
- Use advanced AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor to design, while being familiar with Inventor Vault for version control and collaboration.
- Apply your working knowledge of MRP software and systems to track and optimize manufacturing resources.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 6-8 years of relevant experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of electronic equipment, hardware/software, fabrication processes, and machine operations.
- Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor; familiarity with Inventor Vault.
