Job Summary
The Paradise Unified School District (PUSD) is seeking a new superintendent to begin July 1, 2025. PUSD is located in the Sierra Foothills of Butte County and has a current TK-adult enrollment of 1700 students. The Board welcomes a diverse group of candidates and is an equal opportunity employer.
Misson Statement Paradise Unified School District develops a sense of community that ensures success for career and/or college readiness. Vision Statement Paradise Unified School District students will engage in cutting-edge learning that holds all educational partners to high expectations and processes that develop continuous learning for all. Four Principal Goals The district's specific goals are created with participation and input from business and community members, parents, teachers, staff members, and administrators. These goals are then revised periodically to best reflect the community's needs and desires for its school district. • IMPROVE INSTRUCTION-Action: Using the PLC Process • IMPROVE ATTENDANCE-Action: Develop and implement attendance plans for each site • EMOTIONAL WELLNESS-Action: Provide student and staff strategies through RULER • PREPARE student for college and/or career readiness Expected Behaviors • Service Oriented-Relationships • Engage in Ongoing Learning • Encourage Positivity for Students and Staff • Communicate • Commit to High Levels of Instruction • Be Flexible and Willing to Help Out and Work Together • Praise One Another and Support One Another • Be Part of the Community • Support our Student Athletic Programs Motto Every Student Matters, Every Moment Counts
