Overview
Minimum of 2 years of experience in reorder buying.
Proficiency in Excel, including V Lookups.
Generate and place purchase orders for products and special orders, ensuring cost-efficiency and effectiveness.
Monitor purchase order confirmations and follow up to verify receipt, shipping dates, and current costs.
Liaise with vendors regarding purchase orders, shipping schedules, backorder statuses, and overdue orders.
Oversee vaccine inventory by placing orders for overnight shipments and closely tracking stock levels.
Produce daily reports to monitor critical areas such as overdue purchase orders, backorders, short reports, and stock replenishment, addressing any discrepancies.
Resolve issues with vendors, confirm shipping details, and communicate product issues to the Procurement Specialist, warehouse, sales, and marketing teams.
