Responsibilities
Arcfield is seeking a Hardware Engineer with experience in:
- Applying technical standards, principles, and theories.
- Working under general supervision to solve moderate scope/complexity technical problems.
- Evaluating reliability of materials, designing electronic parts, components, circuitry, mechanical systems, optical systems, and DSP systems.
- Designing and developing equipment, processes, and systems involving data networks, communications, and display.
- Analyzing equipment specifications and process requirements for practical design solutions.
- Assessing feasibility from technical and economic perspectives.
- Collaborating with research engineers, scientists, and customer representatives to resolve design issues.
- Developing and maintaining technical procedures, documentation, and manuals.
- Conducting tests and analyzing operational data to establish standards for new or modified equipment and systems.
- Supervising technicians and technologists supporting technical tasks.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Experience with secure processing technology and hardware components.
- Research, design, and development skills for ASIC hardware to enhance performance, security, and usability.
- Knowledge of VHDL, VeriLog, and FPGA emulation experience.
- Current SECRET clearance.
- Educational requirements: Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of experience, Master's degree with 0-2 years, or High School Diploma with 8-10 years of experience.
Arcfield offers a projected salary range of $64,625.79 to $112,371.72, depending on experience and qualifications, along with comprehensive benefits.
