Are you excited about stopping drug testing on animals? This early-stage biotech AI company, recently emerged from stealth, is on a mission to eliminate animal testing in drug development by building the world’s best AI tools for drug toxicity prediction. Backed by several world-class investors with over $15M in funding, the team has already onboarded several large pharmaceutical customers and pilot partners.
With demonstrated breakthroughs showing AI models outperforming traditional lab experiments, the company is well-positioned to lead a shift in the industry—particularly as regulatory bodies like the FDA begin phasing out animal testing in favor of AI-based alternatives.
This is an opportunity to be one of the first engineers at a deeply technical, mission-driven startup working to replace animal testing with AI. The role involves building visualization-heavy interfaces across two core products:
Customer Platform: A data-heavy application that allows pharma partners to explore complex biological and chemical datasets, such as dosage response curves, in a clear, intuitive way.
Internal Platform: A suite of internal tools to help the ML and science teams evaluate model performance and experiment with datasets.
This is a unique challenge: building tools that allow scientists to interpret and interact with both complex AI models and biological, chemical, and clinical data.
The role involves close collaboration with a technical lead focusing on frontend architecture and design. Strong experience in frontend development, particularly with data visualization (scientific/ML/biological data).
Proficiency in TypeScript (or JavaScript) and Python.
