Summary/Objective
Truck driver is responsible for the safe operation of a dump truck
Haul materials from location to location within a construction site and asphalt plants as well as loading and unloading materials
Drivers are required to observe standard safety practices when operating all trucks
Must perform proper vehicle operation techniques, daily inspections and preventative maintenance, maintain a clean truck and present a professional appearance
Ensure loads are evenly balanced and secured.
Properly fill out necessary paperwork and have good communications skills.
This is outside work in all types of environments, conditions, weather and seasons. Due to the nature of the position, regular and timely attendance is essential, and hours must conform to the company's operation hours.
Experience
Construction background required, prefer paving or heavy/highway construction experience. A clean driving record and CDL A/B is required with proper endorsements and valid medical card.
