BASIS Tucson North needs a second Latin teacher to teach grades 8-12 (schedule is a bit flexible with the second teacher). BTN is a publicly-funded charter school and perennially is ranked as one of the top schools in the nation. Its Latin program is one of the strongest in Arizona with a thriving JCL program. Students begin world language study in 8th grade, take Advanced Placement in 11th grade, and a Capstone course in 12th grade. Currently, students learn from
Cambridge Latin Course , and there is a lot of curricular freedom. Class sizes in the high school are normally small (10-20 students).
