About the Role The Director of SMB Sales is responsible for establishing and developing business practices, business processes and initial team to accommodate Ripple Fiber’s exponential growth of accelerating fiber broadband access across the US within the SMB vertical. This position will have the direct responsibility of the success of the business from a sales and market penetration perspective which primarily entails the execution of Fiber to the Business (FTTB) sales. This role will engage with internal and external partners to ensure the overall success of the business. Responsibilities: Building out internal and external “SMB” processes Coordinating establishment of the “SMB” team both direct and indirect Collaboratively managing, supervising, supporting and training sales representatives and outsourced partners Identifying, Creating and formulizing go-to market and sales strategies to ensure successful market penetration rates Administer all aspects of sales CRM (weekly, monthly, quarterly, sales reports) Providing market updates and feedback internally relating to organizational growth targets and goals Initiating, expanding sales teams across the current and future regions. Qualifications: 10+ years of proven leadership and management work experience as Sales Director/Manager, Business Development Manager, Area Manager or similar Sales/Market Leader Extensive ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs) Previous experience leading and motivating a high performance sales team Previous experience collaborating with outsourced sales partners Knowledge utilizing CRM software and other technologies Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude Availability to travel as needed BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field We are seeking a dynamic individual with a proven high performance track record that illustrates characteristics of which can successfully build and execute a “SMB” go-to-market strategy. They will champion Ripple Fiber’s brand and articulate the depth of our internal team’s commitment to serving our local communities. The successful candidate will have strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Construction and Operations as well as other departments to effectively deliver on business objectives.
