As an Accounts Payable Specialist Intern, you will check and verify account payable records, prepare invoices and vouchers, maintain files, prepare general journal entries, and/or balance accounts payable and royalties payable records. You will use office-automated systems to input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries. You may also have the opportunity to reconcile difficult accounts and maintain a complete and detailed set of transactions in a specific phase of accounting. This opportunity will require a minimum 20-25 hour/week work commitment during the semester, and up to 40 hours/week during the summer. Students will be exposed to Accounting Operations at one of the world's leading marketing technology companies. This role will require you to work on-site in Conway, Arkansas, during scheduled hours for the duration of the internship, including during the semester. Internship details: This internship opportunity will begin in September 2025. This internship will be in Conway, AR. 40 hours/week work dedication during summer and breaks, 20-25/week during the semester. Anticipated graduation date between December 2026 - May 2027. Applicants for this internship position with Acxiom in the U.S. must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Acxiom. What you will do: Primary opportunities include data entry, file maintenance, and other miscellaneous assignments. Process and review supplier invoices. Maintain supplier records in system. Review purchasing card activities. Participate in required training to acquire needed knowledge & skills. Manage time, responsibilities, and priorities effectively with emphasis on your contribution. What you will need:
Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting. GPA of 3.25 or higher. Proficiency in key tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Exposure to GAAP, financial concepts and revenue recognition concepts. High level of attention to detail. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills. What will set you apart:
