Principal Duties & Responsibilities
:
Essential functions include but are not limited to the following: Logging into a variety of claims management systems, reviewing medical records and communicating closely with clients to ensure accurate recordability determinations on workplace injuries. Accurately record the appropriate injuries to their OSHA 300 and 300A logs in accordance with OSHA standard 29 CFR Part 1904. Keep these logs updated timely and make them available to clients through their portal access. Communicate regularly with clients to ensure the proper reporting and recording of claims is taking place. Qualifications/Education/Experience:
Requirements
Highschool diploma required
Excellent computer skills
Customer service skills required
Experience working with multiple clients in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Must be detailed oriented
Skills, Specialized Knowledge and Abilities
Ability to read, understand and interpret OSHA standard 29 CFR Part 1904
Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a high level of confidentiality
Able to meet deadlines, work independently without direct supervision, as well as in a team environment
Excellent customer service, telephone, email and other communication skills.
Demonstrate ability to solve problems, analyze systems and data and suggest appropriate solutions.
Technical experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to learn additional systems used to manage client data
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and able to demonstrate considerable initiative
Effectively work with others to build consensus and rapport
Physical and Mental Demands
Ability to lift, reach and carry up to 25 pounds
Ability to sit for long periods of time
Ability to report to the office with 24-hour notice on non-scheduled workdays
