United Description The Manager/Senior Manager, Group Ticket Sales, will be responsible for developing the group sales strategy, focusing on both new business and retention, while directly overseeing a sales team of 5-6 members. This role will involve hiring, training, and developing the entire D.C. United Group Sales team. Compensation Manager: $70,000 + Commission Sr. Manager: $75,000 + Commission Core Responsibilities Include Leading and managing the performance of the Group Sales team, primarily responsible for driving revenue through new sales and retention. Monitoring, motivating, and evaluating staff performance; setting and communicating sales goals regularly. Training and coaching the team through sales training and weekly sessions to help members meet their targets. Collaborating with the ticket sales leadership team to develop and implement strategic initiatives. Assisting in strategic planning and execution of ticket sales throughout the year. Reporting weekly on sales and activity metrics to the Senior Director of Ticket Sales. Performing additional duties as assigned by the Senior Director. Essential Qualifications And Requirements Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or sport management. At least 5 years of successful sales experience with a professional sports team in a high-volume environment. Minimum of 1 year experience overseeing a sales team. Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Archtics preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Competitive, positive attitude and strong organizational skills. Understanding of B2B and B2C sales processes. Willing to work nights and weekends. Ability to work effectively in a team. Must pass a background check. D.C.
