Title: Associate Director, Scientific Communications Location: Must be local to San Rafael, CA Contract - Comp $75-81 depending on experience Start Date: ASAP Leading Pharmaceutical Company located in CA is hiring a Associate Director, Scientific Communications 3+ years industry experience. The Associate Director (AD) functions as a key member of the Scientific Communications team, ensuring high quality scientific outputs with appropriate utilization of resources. The AD will work with the Director of Scientific Communications to develop and implement scientific communication strategy, manage the scientific communication plan for assigned product and therapeutic areas, and oversee scientific messaging for marketed and clinical products. Publication Strategy and Planning • Develop and ensure timely execution of the scientific communication plan for COMPANYs program in skeletal condition conditions, with a focus on the US • Contribute to development and implementation of scientific messaging and maintain the Scientific Communication Platform • Ensure cross-functional alignment of messaging and strategies to address gaps Education: Advanced degree (MS or higher) in life or health sciences is required 7 or more years of relevant experience in scientific communications, publication planning and/or medical writing within a pharmaceutical company or medical writing agency 2 or more years managing direct reports is preferred Ref: #568-Clinical
