To revolutionize food safety by creating a cutting-edge platform based on a unique combination of robotics, software, and technology. Our ability to offer fast and accurate testing while still being cost-effective allows every member of the food supply chain (big or small) to be rest assured that the food they produce is safe thereby making the world a better place. We are currently hiring in our Analytical Chemistry group.
Job Responsibilities
Develop instrument methods on HPLC, ICP-MS, GCMS, LC/MS/MS for various target analyses from complex matrices Perform method validations and optimize method performance for new sample matrices, high-throughput applications, repeatablility, etc. Optimize and develop procedures for the extraction of target analytes for chemical/biochemical analysis Set-up and run chemistry assays to detect contaminant compounds and determine levels of various target molecules Perform wet chemistry analyses such as assays, titrations, and analyte extractions on various sample matrices Collection and analysis of experiment data Literature research and troubleshooting
Qualifications
Minimum of a MS in Chemistry or related disciplines with method development experience; PhD is preferred 5+ years of relevant laboratory experience excluding coursework Industry lab experience is a plus Must have working knowledge of aseptic techniques and laboratory skills Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail Ability to work well both within a team as well as independently with minimal supervision Strong troubleshooting skills and able to apply scientific concepts using independent judgement and discretion
