Experience with Jira and Git Database development experience Experience with Model-Based System’s Engineering tools (e.g., Dassault Cameo, IBM Rhapsody, etc.) Knowledge and experience in the Missile Defense Modeling and Simulation domain Job Description Insight Global is hiring for a Software Architect to support a large government prime in Colorado Springs, CO. This is an onsite M-F position and will require a Secret DoD clearance. This team is responsible for the development and delivery of high-fidelity threat modeling products in support of Ballistic Missile Defense Systems (BMDS). This group develops models and simulations (M&S) used to stimulate element such as kinematic missile modeling, IR signature modeling, data production and analysis, as well as maintenance and sustainment of the software baseline. This position requires a senior software engineer responsible for developing architecture for our threat missile modeling and simulation software. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of modeling and simulation methods and processes. The selected candidate will work on a product delivery team and meet time-critical delivery schedules. This is a long-term contract-to-hire opportunity with the prime. This role is located on-site daily at Schriever SFB and with no option for remote/hybrid work. Salary Range: $155,400.00 - $233,200.00. Exact compensation will vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
