About The Role
As a Senior Applications Analyst SAP MM at Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing our SAP Solution Center operations. This position requires deep SAP application expertise, particularly in the MM (Materials Management) module, along with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills. Youll contribute directly to system stability, user satisfaction, and continuous process improvements across our enterprise SAP landscape.
You will collaborate with SAP end users, developers, functional teams, and IT stakeholders to troubleshoot, configure, and optimize SAP MM processes. This is a hybrid role located in Chicago, IL, with on-site expectations at our corporate headquarters.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, enjoys mentoring others, and is motivated by solving complex system challenges.

What Youll Do
Resolve SAP MM production issues by triaging helpdesk tickets, logging incidents, and providing timely resolutions Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and design effective solutions Create and maintain functional design documents for application enhancements and interface development Configure SAP MM processes and develop test plans, ensuring thorough testing and documentation Support procurement-related security configurations and design within SAP MM Enhance existing SAP MM solutions and lead the implementation of new process improvements Act as subject matter expert for P2P processes, sharing SAP best practices and mentoring team members Develop productive relationships with business units and cross-functional IT teams Utilize SAP reporting tools to provide flexible, timely reporting and support user training efforts Provide off-hours or weekend support as needed for critical business incidents
Who You Are
10+ years of experience supporting SAP MM, including full lifecycle implementations and P2P integrations Bachelors degree or equivalent experience Expertise in SAP MM configuration, including vendor master, material master, procurement workflows, pricing, and tax configuration Strong understanding of MM integration with SD, FICO, PP, and QM modules Skilled in troubleshooting SAP issues and independently driving resolution Proficient in SAP master data, inventory processes (IM/WM), transfer pricing, and consignment Experience developing functional specs and working closely with developers through testing and deployment Effective communicator with excellent customer service and collaboration skills Experience leading training sessions and creating end-user documentation Legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

About The Role
