Associate, senior attorney, or Of Counsel opening
Clemens Warren Pinkerton Siems is hiring an associate, senior associate, or Of Counsel for our beautiful downtown San Diego office. We are a busy, boutique family law firm which handles complex and high asset matters. We have a collaborative, tightknit workplace where we genuinely enjoy working with each other, and we are looking for the right attorney to join our team. The attorneys and partners in our office handle a considerable amount of litigation/mediation and we’re seeking an attorney who is highly detail-oriented, motivated, and hard working. Attorneys with current family law experience and/or certified family law specialists are encouraged to apply. All applications will be kept in strict confidence.
Litigation support for partners and senior attorneys, including assistance with caseload and clients.
Legal research.
Trial and mediation support (preparing briefs, legal analysis, etc.)
JD from accredited law school.
~ 2+ years family law experience. (Attorneys with greater experience a plus.)
~ Certified family law specialist a plus.
~ Excellent writing skills and attention to detail.
~ Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
~ Experience with family law software a plus (Xspouse, Dissomaster, Propertizer or equivalent).
~ Experience with Clio billing software a plus.
~ Experience with Westlaw or equivalent legal research program a plus.
~ Ability to maintain contemporaneous billing and meet billable hours goal.
We offer flexibility for our attorneys to strike a fair balance between their desired salary and billable requirements, with the goal of achieving a reasonable work-life balance. Origination bonuses, discretionary holiday and performance bonuses.
