Overview
Role: PM + Scrum Master
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration:contract
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead mid-size projects from initiation to closure, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget adherence.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risk registers, and status reports.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to align project objectives.
- Track project progress and escalate risks or blockers with mitigation strategies.
- Manage resource allocation and project dependencies efficiently.
Scrum Master Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Implement Agile best practices and remove impediments to ensure smooth sprint execution.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and cross-team collaboration.
- Maintain and track Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, etc.) to enhance delivery efficiency.
Business Analysis Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements.
- Create user stories, process flows, wireframes, and business rules documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product features and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with developers, testers, and designers to ensure successful implementation.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and assist in change management efforts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Experience:
- 5+ years of combined experience in project management, Agile delivery, and business analysis.
- Project Management: At least 5 years of experience in managing projects, tracking deliverables, and working with cross-functional teams.
- Scrum Master: Minimum 3 years of experience facilitating Agile teams, conducting Agile ceremonies, and ensuring Scrum best practices.
- Business Analysis: At least 3–5 years of experience gathering requirements, creating user stories, and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or smartsheet
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive collaboration across teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience in handling mid-size technology or business transformation projects.
- Certification(s) preferred: PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, CBAP
