Our client is seeking an experienced
Senior Purchasing Buyer
to lead procurement efforts in the automotive industry. This role focuses on strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization to support manufacturing and operational goals. Key Responsibilities for Senior Purchasing Buyer
Develop and execute sourcing strategies to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets. Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to drive cost savings and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast material needs and prevent supply chain disruptions. Ensure purchased materials meet industry standards and compliance requirements. Identify risks and opportunities through market analysis and drive continuous improvement. Qualifications for Senior Purchasing Buyer
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field highly preferred, associates acceptable. 5+ years of purchasing experience preferably in the automotive industry.
