Mobile Software Engineer

to join our team and

lead the development

of our cross-platform mobile app. This role offers the chance to take ownership of an existing app built with

Flutter

and continue its evolution, working to enhance its performance, usability, and scalability. As the sole engineer responsible for the mobile app, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of our platform. This role will

begin as a contract , with the

potential to convert to full-time

if it’s the right mutual fit. You’ll have the opportunity to work in a

fast-paced, high-growth environment

with a direct impact on the product. What You’ll Do Own

the end-to-end development and evolution of our

cross-platform mobile app

(iOS and Android) built with

Flutter , including native code integration. Work closely with the

backend engineering team

to integrate the app with existing databases Implement

mobile payment processing

(preferably with

Stripe ). Collaborate with the

product team

to prioritize features and improvements. Design intuitive, high-performance mobile experiences

optimized for fast-paced event environments. Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain the app for long-term scalability and user satisfaction. What We’re Looking For 5+ years in mobile application development Proficiency in

Swift ,

Kotlin , and

Flutter Experience with mobile-to-backend integration Familiarity with

mobile payments

(Stripe a plus) Knowledge of

OOP

and modern mobile design patterns Bonus: Experience with

Node.js Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field Must be

based in Raleigh-Durham, NC

(or nearby) with ability to work hybrid Contract rate:

$75–$90/hour, depending on experience and fit This is a

contract-to-hire

role, with strong potential to convert to full-time Full-time conversion includes a
