$26.00/hr - $28.00/hr Position Summary: Select Exterminating is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accounts Receivable (AR) Representative to join our Finance team. This role focuses on the day-to-day management of collections, and account reconciliations for residential, commercial, and municipal clients across multiple states. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and experienced in handling a high volume of AR transactions in a customer service-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: • Follow up on outstanding payments via phone and email to ensure timely collections • Apply customer payments and resolve any payment discrepancies or unapplied cash • Maintain detailed and up-to-date customer account records in the AR system • Prepare weekly aging reports and highlight accounts needing escalation • Communicate with internal departments to resolve billing and service issues • Support month-end AR close processes, including reconciliations and reporting • Assist in processing ACH, credit card, and online portal payments • Use customer portals such as Paymode and AvidXchange for invoice submission and payment tracking • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional and diplomatic approach Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or billing role • Strong understanding of AR processes and basic accounting principles • Experience working with residential and commercial customer accounts • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and AR systems • Familiarity with electronic payment portals (e.g., Paymode, AvidXchange) is a plus • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and within a team • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred • Salary range: $55,000 - $60,000 annually • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Paid time off and holidays • Supportive and team-oriented work environment • Opportunities for learning and professional development We are an equal opportunity employer Seniority level
