Senior Respiratory Therapist - Critical Care Specialist
We're seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our prestigious healthcare facility in Virginia. This autonomous role offers the unique opportunity to be the primary RT specialist during your shift, providing critical respiratory care services across multiple departments including Emergency, Surgical, and Cardiac units.
Essential Responsibilities: Serve as the lead Respiratory Therapist during assigned shifts Provide advanced respiratory care in emergency and critical care settings Perform and assist with intubations as backup support (training provided) Deliver therapeutic treatments across multiple departments Evaluate and monitor patient respiratory status Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams Manage respiratory equipment and supplies Required Qualifications:
Current Virginia Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License NBRC certification as CRT or RRT Current BLS certification (AHA Healthcare Provider) ACLS certification or EKG & Pharmacology Course completion Minimum 3 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience Strong critical thinking and independent decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Why Join Us?
