Overview
* Initiate and oversee sales retention, analytics, and broker functions for the sales and marketplace.
* Develop strategies for retention plans, analytics to drive business plans, and support broker strategies for targeted opportunities with clear schedules and action assignments.
* Manage sales operations including onboarding, training, webinar updates, and participation in State Programs and strategic growth meetings.
* Participate in Salesforce and IT development processes.
* Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
* Review and manage documentation such as DL, PIPS, and finals.
Principal Accountabilities
* Develop, implement, and supervise activities related to reports to ensure departmental goals are met, including membership reports and collaboration with relevant departments and vendors for membership growth.
* Oversee daily operations of sales, retention, and marketplace functions, aligning strategies with peers.
* Develop, train, manage, assess, and motivate staff, setting performance objectives and providing support for success.
* Analyze sales reports to identify performance gaps and recommend improvements, recognizing positive results to motivate staff.
* Build strategies and deliver comprehensive training to optimize marketplace sales results.
* Maintain relationships with outside vendors supporting departmental needs.
* Coordinate with call center and direct mail vendors to support marketing efforts.
* Collaborate with the Compliance Director to implement training programs ensuring CMS compliance, policy updates, and internal audits.
* Manage development of Medicaid benefit plan designs for marketing and strategic planning during open enrollment.
* Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as required.
Education, Training, Licenses, Certifications
* Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
Relevant Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* 10-12+ years of relevant professional experience.
* Experience in staff and process management.
* Strategic and tactical operational improvement skills.
* Additional experience or specialized training may substitute for educational requirements.
* Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
* Knowledge of healthcare industry, products, services, and processes.
* Ability to analyze data, interpret reports, and forecast issues.
* Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and engaging with all management levels, including executives.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
* Excellent communication skills across various formats and audiences.
