Overview:
Our client is seeking a Senior Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and evolve critical safety and environmental programs at their pharmaceutical manufacturing site. This role is essential to promoting a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while partnering closely with site leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and continuously improve core EHS programs including industrial hygiene, biosafety, chemical safety, and ergonomics
- Manage environmental initiatives such as air emissions, wastewater, hazardous waste, and community right-to-know reporting
- Champion a culture of safety and environmental responsibility through outreach, training, and leadership engagement
- Guide emergency response planning, inspections, and audits to support business continuity and team safety
- Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate EHS best practices into daily operations and long-term strategy
