Overview
The AlignIQ Financial Planning Analyst will help CFO teams across multiple industries design, implement and support integrated financial planning, reporting and analysis solutions. The ideal candidate is able to play multiple roles with the financial acumen to:
(1) understand the business with its financial statements, key performance indicators (KPIs) and their respective drivers,
(2) understand the various Finance current state technologies and process used by the teams, and
(3) help CFO teams to successfully strategize and navigate their digital finance transformation in the areas of reporting, analytics and forecasting improvements
Basic Qualifications
: ·2-5 years of relevant working experience ·Based in the DC/MD/VA or PA or TX states ·Customer service and solution-oriented mindset with finance and tools ·Bachelors in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems or related field ·Experience in financial and operational data analysis, financial planning and analysis, and/or accounting ·Proficiency with Microsoft Excel’s and PowerBI’s multiple complex functions and reporting flexibility ·Experience in using various financial reporting, analysis and modeling technologies that leverage multidimensional databases (e.g., Jedox, Oracle Hyperion, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, OneStream, Prophix, Board) Preferred Qualifications
: ·Masters in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems or related field ·Experience with Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platforms (e.g., Jedox, Oracle Hyperion, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, OneStream, Prophix, Board) ·Experience reverse-engineering client Excel-centric forecasting and reporting interim solutions Excel to translate into EPM solutions ·Experience building well-structured forecasting and reporting prototypes in Excel that translate into more robust EPM solutions ·Experience using multi-dimensional/OLAP databases and Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI) ·Experience with SQL and data warehousing/ data marts/ data lakes ·Identifies as a self-starter with excellent time management and communication skills Responsibilities
: ·Provide Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions for CFO departments across industries ·Interface with clients, committing to high level, professional support ·Design and implement financial planning, reporting and analysis solutions with leading EPM platforms, complemented with Excel/VBA ·Develop impactful dashboards in leading EPM/BI platforms such as Jedox, Oracle Hyperion, Tableau, Power BI, and Excel to identify actionable KPIs ·Recognize, adopt, and constantly approve best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation Seniority level
