Senior Forensic Engineer (Structural PE) - Miami, FL

As a Senior Forensic Engineer, you will lead forensic investigations, assess structural components, and provide expert witness testimony in litigation cases. You'll work with a diverse range of projects, including multifamily, industrial, commercial, retail, insurance, hospitality, and healthcare.
Serve as an expert witness in depositions, mediations, and litigation.
Conduct forensic inspections and generate detailed reports.
Review drawings, codes, and specifications to assess structural deficiencies.
Prepare expert reports with analysis, conclusions, and recommendations.
Oversee testing such as material testing and structural analysis.
Provide technical guidance to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to professional development.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum 4 years in architectural & engineering consulting.
Expert witness experience is required.
Licenses & Certifications:
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
OSHA 10 Certification preferred
Valid U.S. driver's license (travel required)
Skills:
Strong verbal & written communication
Detail-oriented with excellent project management skills
Knowledge of building codes & industry regulations
Proficiency in AutoCAD, BricsCAD, or Revit is a plus
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
