Senior Migration Infrastructure Engineer

include: Lead network migration efforts fromJRSS to AGUN infrastructure, ensuring seamless transition and minimal downtime Administer and manage VMware ESX environments (versions 8 and 9), including configuration, patching, and performance optimization Configure and maintain secure, scalable network and compute solutions acrossvirtualization and containerization platforms Supportafter-hours maintenance windows(typically Tuesday–Thursday evenings) and participate inAuthorized Service Interruptions (ASIs) Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance withDoD RMF standardsand integrate monitoring data intoSIEM tools Review engineering documentation and prepare systems for migration and deployment activities Travel up to 10% to Army bases for on-site support as needed Qualifications of the

Senior Migration Infrastructure Engineer

include: 12+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 10+ years with a Master’s degree Hands-on experience administering VMware ESX 8 and 9in enterprise environments Strong background inDevOps, includingcloud automation,GitLab CI/CD, andLinux shell scripting Proficiency innetwork engineering, including routing, switching, and enterprise networking. Familiarity withJIRA,Confluence, and infrastructure documentation best practices Experience withSIEM integration, network performance monitoring, and optimization Active8570/8140 certification(e.g., Security+, CISSP, CEH) Willingness to workevening shifts(Tues–Thurs, 6 PM–6 AM) and travel up to 10% Active Secret clearance Compensation for the
