Senior Accounting Manager
to oversee critical accounting functions. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations within a dynamic resort environment. Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accounting Manager: Oversee preparation and timely submission of federal, state, and local tax filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Lead the month-end close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, accruals, and financial statements. Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly. Supervise the accounts payable team, ensuring timely vendor payments and strong control processes. Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of intercompany transactions. Coordinate with property-level teams to maintain consistent accounting practices. The
Senior Accounting Manager
will support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational and financial efficiency. Mentor team members and ensure adherence to established guidelines and SOPs. Preferred Qualifications of the Senior Accounting Manager: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in hospitality accounting. Knowledge of US tax law and familiarity with labor laws. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, EZ Suites, SMS, Streamline) and Microsoft Office. Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Effective communication skills and attention to detail.
