What You Will Do
Sr. Manager Demand Planning influences business and operational stakeholders to position the brand for growth and profitability. Responsible for the shipment and sales forecast for the brand, inventory health, catalogue productivity, SIT, and service. Responsible for building a bottoms-up forecast using intelligence from the market, sales teams, and providing a consensus Brand Forecast consolidation to help drive the monthly S&OP cycle for the business unit and channel.
- Manage the development, review, and implementation of an accurate forecast for use in financial, production, and strategic planning processes. Identify areas of risk and opportunity to the business plan due to internal/external factors and alert Management. Drive the continuous improvement of the demand planning and inventory management processes and systems.
- Drive the S&OP process with key stakeholders in the business and operations, representing Supply Chain in the business unit and channel.
- Interact & collaborate with Sales, Marketing & Finance partners in the development of the forecast. Challenge the forecast based on analytical data - both quantitative (shipments/consumption) and qualitative (marketing, advertising, promotion) demand signals. Reconcile forecast with financial trends and clearly communicate risks & opportunities. Lead forecast validation meetings to ensure objectives are met and decisions are made.
- Monitor performance vs. the forecast throughout the month, identifying key shifts or trends. Analyze forecast deviations to minimize stockouts and prevent excess & obsolete inventory.
- Collaborate with supply planning to identify forecast deviations and supply chain constraints, establishing Safety Stock levels.
- Manage the product catalogue, including product lifecycle analysis, SKU effectiveness, and rationalization.
- Drive inventory management actions to reduce Excess & Obsolete stock.
- Monitor new launches and animations versus the forecast, develop ship share models, and assess launch performance.
- Lead the pre-budget/budget process for your business unit and channel.
- Lead or participate in special projects as needed.
- Provide monthly reporting of KPIs.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5+ years demand planning or related experience
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with forecast software systems
- Experience with SAP environment is a plus

Additional Benefits:
- Salary Range: $117,400 - $167,300 (dependent on various factors)
